Because of the effects of wear and tear on the skin caused by outdoor work in Shetland, we wanted to create a soap that contained a fresh, invigorating scent and provided healing, therapeutic benefits to the skin. So to our special recipe we added generous amounts of three essential oils, Lavender, Rosemary, and Lemongrass, Lavender to soothe, heal and cleanse, Rosemary for antiseptic protection and astringent properties and Lemongrass to keep away the midgies!
