Making a Purchase

Shopping is made easy on our site. Just click on the add to basket icon beside any item you want to buy and the goods will be added to your shopping basket. You can add or remove products by following the instructions on the shopping basket page and you can change quantities too. Once you have added a product you can either continue shopping or proceed to the checkout.

Payment is made by credit card and we accept Visa, MasterCard, Europay, Switch and Japanese Credit Bureau. If you are shopping from outside the UK your credit card company will convert your transaction into your own currency.

We are able to accept credit card payments by telephone or fax on +44 (0) 1595 690096.

We can also accept cheques from UK banks, International Money Orders and UK Postal Orders, provided payment is received prior to despatch.

All purchases receive a receipted invoice along with their credit card receipt if applicable.

Prices and VAT

All prices shown include VAT (Value Added Tax) which applies to the UK and EU. Orders from outside the European Community will not be charged VAT.

Postage and Packing

Shipping is calculated depending on the weight of your parcel. In order to be as fair as possible we have weighed all the products we offer for sale. This allows us to calculate our charges on the basis of current Royal Mail rates for First Class post, Standard Parcel delivery or international Airmail.

Our shipping rates also include a small charge to cover packaging and handling. Rates are reviewed continuously and we will clearly state any change in policy.

Delivery Times

We will despatch your order within 3 working days, so please allow 7 to 10 working days for your parcel to reach you. If in the unlikely situation that your item is not in stock we will contact you immediately and ask whether or not you’d like us to cancel the order, despatch a similar alternative or wait until the item is back in stock. Your credit card will not be charged until the goods are despatched.

Refunds, Returns & Cancellations

We offer a full refund or replacement on all unused goods if returned within 21 days of receipt. Please bear in mind that the cost of returning goods is the responsibility of the purchaser, unless goods were found to be faulty before delivery.

Manufacturing By Hand

We do our best to ensure the consistency of colour, feel and fragrance in all our products. However due to the handmade nature of the range, you may experience some very minor variation that could occur from batch to batch. Very occasionally, due to exceptional demand we may run short of the odd fragrance our Traditional Cold Process Soap. Although we pride ourselves in keeping plenty of stock, this item takes three weeks to cure and we might offer an alternative to speed along your delivery. Please contact us if you have any queries.
